Heads up for Parents!

The public school system is about to give a big gift to local parents. The ParentConnectXP system will allow you to log in to an acutal grade reporting system to monitor how well students are doing in their courses. A registered parent user to the system can see what grades their child is making on each assignment (and whether that assignment was turned in at all).

Ahh...the sound you hear of parents everywhere rejoicing. I guess this is in response to parents like me who get a little shock when they get the interim report. Missed assignments, poor test grades, etc. can now be monitored before students receive a permanent bad grade. This is heaven for those of us who are parents of high school students. Sometimes not a lot of communication going on for whatever reason. I hope it will save a lot of time and heartbreak discussing a solution with teachers.

For more info, look on your student's school website.
